The story of the Archmage
Long long ago just outside of the High tower of Sorcery there was a small farm, on this farm lived young Vos and his family, his father and mother. One day Vos was adventuring around and made his way into the high tower, around the halls and eventually made his way up to the top. To his surprise he was greeted by the Grand Mistress who looked like she had some company. The mystical being greeted himself as The Archmage. Vos not knowing much about religion or history had no clue who it could have been. He overheard the Grand Mistress and The Archmage speaking of great adventures to lands far and wide. This was the most inspiring event in the life of Vos, after that he knew he wanted to study the Arcane. At a young age Vos discovered the arcane energy and how to channel it.

Description:

Hovering just above the ground this avian has pitch black ruffled fur, that seems rather unkempt. His fur is spiked up on the top of his head, and then straightened on the sides. His green almond shaped eyes peer out of the dark fur. His body is muscular and he looks to be in rather good shape compared to his other kin. A jagged scar starts on his right arm and leads across his chest to his left arm, looking as if it was some kind of spiked wire to bind him. His arms are covered in arcane runes, that periodically glow and change colors.

I was slayed for apparently cussing at someone IC. Kinda pushed me overboard since that never happened.

You're suggesting that an Imm slayed you for no reason, which is about the most offensive thing you could accuse an Imm of and I hope they siteban you for a few months until you get your head out of your ass. Also you're notorious for OOC cursing so to feign innocence is laughable.

First off I would like to say that what rule am I breaking for calling someone a bitch icly? That would result in a silent slay/full loot without a warning or even a word? From what I understood we are all fucking adults here.

1: no multiple logins, multi playing, or multi charactering (MULTI)
2: stay IN-CHARACTER at all times (ROLEPLAYING, INSANITY)
3: don't leave characters on life support (SCRIPTING)
4: don't interfere with other people's pk ranges (ASSISTANCE)
          5: no permagroups (PERMAGROUP)
6: no spamming or flooding the screen to annoy others
7: don't sexually harass other players
8: don't advertise other games or products
          10: obey orders from Immortals

Rule #2. Do you really think calling someone a bitch in a fantasy-based world is legit? Next you'll say it's cool for someone in game of Thrones to refer to something as 'pretty dope, yo'.

And since you've been warned before about this behavior, you also broke Rule #10.

Ceridwel, I don't think using the word birch is at all analogous to "pretty dope yo" in the game of thrones. It is exactly like a character in the game of thrones using the word bitch, which has happened.

It seems that an imm saying in the past "don't do that" is enough. Arguing that it should or shouldnt be apart of the "made up universe with made up languages and made up cultures" is silly.

Also in the context a drow bard had just killed me and looted me after I agreed to let them kill me to get an exotic weapon that could not be uncursed. AFTER they used me to go to every faction in winter and free Zakkaria. I said via Tell well at lest we all know your true nature, being a bitch. I eat a silent slay when I am not even online and full loot. Justice..

Rofl, I think if we're going to use GoT as a standard for how characters should act in AR, the word 'bitch' would be the least of our worries. Anyone else remember bitchslap? That was a fun emote.

I had assumed the target of the cuss was a male character. I don't personally have an issue calling a female character a bitch if there is a solid and appropriate RP reason to do so.

The offense which led to the slay:

                                    [code:1:9f60133085]
Rule 2: 'Vos tells you 'You think just because you have some semi decent equipment you are all of a sudden some bad ass?''
                                    [/code:1:9f60133085]

The speech is plainly OOC and justly complained about. I don't think the matter deserved any more than a slay, but we're not going to just ignore this shit. I didn't tell you to mass delete all your characters and hyper overreact like Imms did that to you. You are slain offline because I don't have the time to sit all day just waiting to slay you when you log in. Believe me I have better things to do than stalk you 24/7

We have a reporting system in game for a reason, and clearly it is working, and if you don't like that, I got two words for you ... suck it. Everybody else involved in this process has done what they were supposed to do.

I have called people some pretty raunchy stuff in-character and they've gone straight to prays with it every time. And every time the other imms have brushed it off because the context was valid. My favorite time was when I was camping Emerald on a level 10 getting gold or something and refusing to leave. One of Oozaru's characters was being a douche and I told him he had a sandy vagina. He went nuuuuuuts

Yes D and if you knew the context of that quote you would know it was completely IC and justified. We just got done doing what I considered the hardest thing in this damn game and the person who we were doing it with killed me for an item I told them I would give them, and then they loot/sacrifice my shit. So I told them ICLY that just because they got that piece of equipment they must be some sort of bad ass. Since before they got that they were so nice and caring about everyone and bubbly then all of a sudden they are going to start playing there diabolic alignment. So please again tell me that it was not unjust or fucking ic dude. I love how you only see one side of shit and at what cost? I spend more hours than the 2nd 3rd and 4th most active players here put together. So you can Suck it and find a new fucking scapegoat. Peace out brother.

People say all kinds of shit all the fucking time that if you upheld this standard to EVERYONE not just specific people no one would be here. CONSTANTLY I got asked can you add some damage and accuracy to my weapon? How much Damage does it have? How much health does it grant? Blah blah blah fuck dude you frustrate me, just when I was getting back into the grove of things and enjoying myself you have to shit on my fucking parade.

Javey and Phaelyss were the ones who did all the "real" hard work collecting the summoning stones. At the end of the adventure you picked up not only the one thing the evil drow bard wanted, but all of Zaikkra's stuff. Then you preceded to tell them to listen and how it was going to go. One of said items was nodrop, noremove, nouncurse, and when you were informed of this you
began stalling and refusing to listen until you agreed to let her kill you. Vos was already coming across as dry and tasteless, so it's no surprise that she double crossed you as low as it was, and sacrificed one mystical ring. You blew up after this, but that is okay, because you were frustrated. It could have potentially fueled for some great RP, but you decided to delete ALL your characters and do exactly what Ceridwel said you would do. Don't feel ashamed. I've done the same thing, and almost all of us are guilty of nerd raging. There was a day when Davairus posted a link where he was fighting for the mud votes somewhere, and you could sense the passion and love for the game he has. I realized after reading the entire thing that, this is what it's all about. We may not have the largest community in the world but a lot more people play than you think. And when people have such memorable characters and nerdrage, they're not only selling the other players short but themselves as well. Kudos to you if you are actually trying to RP, but remember that joining coteries or cabal requires some degree of it. Don't sell yourself short.

This was all after you a) didn't want to go b) told everyone how hard it was c) made it take LONGER by doing the first step last because you didn't think they could make it c) complaining the ENTIRE TIME d) then picked up every item dropped without skipping a beat or even apologizing for annoying the shit out of everyone the whole time. all so you could put the entries in the codex?? Anyway I don't see the RP value in telling someone in a medieval time period how they got "equipment" so they are a "bad ass" now. Like the previous poster said, this was a chance for some good RP with Phaelyss, but your frustration for an evil character doing something evil -

however to the devils advocate, a year or so ago wasn't beai being revered as one of the best RPerss, what this game really needs, blah blah blah? Staff telling players to SUCK IT does not make this seem like a welcoming community for new or old players (even if it is in the gy). Luckily many old players have come to accept the unfriendly disposition some staff can at times display (the, "this is my party I can throw as much beer on you as I want" mentality).

also this is A GAME. to the person that said beai should be site banned for accusing an imm of foul play needs to seriously get a life, and maybe a significant other.

with that said I think that the actions and disposition of players can affect how staff treat you and turn a situation that didn't have to be hostile into that. often times if you seem remorseful about whatever rule you broke, or rule they felt you broke, they'll let you off with a warning.

Also in my defense that was the easiest way to do it. If we would have done the summoning stones first and the game crashed we would have been out of luck. ALSO why the heck would you not want to do it the way we did? We got back to Winter and they were already almost dead. If we would have done it "Your way" we would have to fight through winter just to get there and Zakkira would have been at full health. Also I have seen that bug out on two different occasions. So we did it the easy way.

All in all good experience here and maybe I am just justifying my deletions but the new DLC for destiny is coming out Tuesday and that forsure did not help my character's health.

                                                          A bit too much vitriol.

The honest reason why you got in trouble was out of character play. The way you expressed your statement was as follows

'You think just because you have some semi decent equipment you are all of a sudden some bad ass?''

                                                          How you could have expressed that sentiment and kept it in character;

"You think because you have powerful arms and that enchanted armor that you are all powerful? Those things were not meant for such as you."

That is only off the top of my head, but do you see the difference between the two? It's like the difference between a hunting rifle with a deer scope and a .50 caliber rifle and you point out that just because that other person has it, doesn't mean they know how to use it. Nothing wrong with that, in and of itself, but you need to find the way your character would express it.

What I see you do, is say things that would be fine to say in character if they were said correctly, but you slip out of character to say them. Point of fact, the RP leading up to the trip, initiated by you, was absolutely excellent and I would accuse a few of the others of not maintaining that standard prior to the trip. It is simply unfortunate that you decided to delete and rage out a bit, instead of cooling it down and realizing that it is a game and you could easily turned this in to something really cool.
