A new beginning
My life begins, so I am told deep within the familiar forest of Emerald. As a young child I remember the enchanting pixies and the intriguing brownies and how they made bows from daisies, but the wonders of the forest also displayed the cruelty from others. Many travelers always stared at me whispering he has the mark of the beast. Many times I asked my mother what they would refer to, and she simply explained that when I am ready, I will know the true meaning. My mother and father left me as soon as they taught me to butcher corpses for food and showed me the various sources of water within the beautiful forest. At the time I did not know why they left, but as I grew older I saw the necessity and the awful sacrifice they had to make. Now the benefits within the forest without parental supervision were immense. Farmer Griff and I would toast to anything and everything, and we will not discuss the incidents with the various nymphs within the forest. One night I was stumbling around the forest and bumped in a large grizzly bear, fell on my face and slept till morning. A cold rush of water was dumped on my head and he motioned for me to follow him. Groggy and with a splitting head ache I obliged hoping he was taking me to breakfast, but to my surprise he took me to a spring and motioned for me to look into it. To my horror I saw what I had become, disheveled, dirty and a poor excuse for a man. He handed me a bow and pointed to the sky. Leaves descended upon me in that very instant and I felt in-tune with nature. I left my debaucherous ways after one last bath with a few nymphs and proceeded to find someone to teach me what my parents left me to learn on my own.

Description (commended):

Courage and honor emanates this fierce man and a stern vision reflects back at you. His piercing green eyes are forever focused on you with unwavering concentration. His complexion has been bronzed by the sun as if he was born in the wild. Beads of sweat line his furrowed brow dripping to the floor. His head is cleanly shaven and his beard well kept, but a large scar across his cheek can be seen. A keloid has formed and no hair can grow in its place. His lips are pursed tightly and for a moment he snarls and large razor fangs and claws appear. His jaw line is square as if the gods intended to use his face to measure reality within time and space. As his jaw clenches a stern voice can be heard booming through you as the rhythm of battle drums pulse in the distance. The rest of his body is toned and muscular, his calloused hands and feet are quite large for a human and his nails are filthy with dirt and grit.

This character was a huge waste of time, I should have never made it. Maybe one day I will last long enough to get promoted, but this guy wasn't the one.

Making a good aligned warlord was stupid to begin with. I completely forgot about the protection spell for evils and how much that nullified my damage, plus the increased damage I took with stance instead of sanctuary.
      1. I can only say I feel you.....

        Hey Ozaru, bye Ozaru.

        1. Protection is what made the difference here. Moir stood no chance at all, zero chance. Stance is not the problem, protection is. The only worthwhile good-aligned classes are paladins and healers because they have protection spells of their own.

Well that's just not true now is it.

That is just nonsense. If you dirt kick a [choose paladin/dark-knight] they have no blind fighting so their damage output lowers drastically and shreds their one defense which is parry. If that isn't good enough for you disarm them so they now have 0 defenses. It'll make sense why they need protection to them. You guys are probably just trying to flourish a fight where the basics easily get the job done.

so your advice is to eat dismembers, massacres, disembowls, land a dirt kick, pray they don't flee as soon as they are blind, then disarm
all the while my massive damage output is decimates with 54 dam roll. Rolling a good aligned warlord was just a bad idea lesson learned

Might have done okay in Knights. Have to agree though, good aligned ranger Warlord was definitely going to be a handicap.

            1. I liked Moir, right up until the only time I dueled him. Then he turned into a whiny little bitch. Left a sour taste in my mouth. So what if I disarmed your shield and picked it up so you couldn't use it? In a real pk situation, I would have sacrificed it. Not like I kept it when the duel was over either. The way you kept going on about it really set my teeth on edge and had you of not been a lightwalker I probably would have killed you right away instead of warning you.
              1. You carry extra weapons around. So always carry a small buckler in your sack as a backup.
              [reply to Mandin]
            2. Yep, I use a non rare shield, I just keep extras. It was that he got butthurt about the shield because I picked it up, he was basically fucked once I dirted and disarmed, I wore bow and he didnt get time to rub dirt.
