The Beginning

Pauwyr came to being in the depths of a place of darkness, yet of brightness. He broke through the thin shell of membrane which seemed to cover him, and was instantly self aware and intelligent beyond belief. Pauwyr did not have a guardian while growing. He had many examples of death, dismemberment and torture. However, he was most fascinated by mages and by magic. Pauwyr spent every waking moment watching, learning, reading and experimenting. Perfection is part of who he is, as much as his wings and claws are. Pauwyr, without question, joined the guild of invokers, as young as was allowed. He excelled in his studies and regularly defeats Jerold in spell mastery battles.
