Description:
The first thing you notice of this tall elven figure is that after a
cursory glance of her figure you are sure she isn't the fairest of them all.
Strands of colored like honeyed milk wave in front of her face, as if
carried aloft on some wind. The rest of her hair kept behind her head up in
a tight yet messy bun. She stands taller than most other elves, even the
males. Her face while it isn't hideous, it is still far from pretty. Her
eyes are, a display of heterochromia, her left being a rich, deep brown, but
her right iris is a bright yellow that is void of a pupil. She stares off
into the distance, as if she sees something no one else can. Her face seems
to be normal compared to a hardened adventurer. She has a bit of fat on her
cheekbones, soft and simple features that make her seem innocuous. Across
her right cheek, just above her jawbone is a scar that is hardly noticeable
without carefully taking in her features. Her body was covered in simple
clothes and religious relics that one would see on any acolyte of the Sun.
She doesn't seem to be wearing any sort of cosmetic or wearing any sort of
perfume, but there was a faint scent of smoke lingering near her.
But I will be honest, I had a shitty day. And this was the icing on top of the cake. Am I upset I did it, now that I've taken a few minutes, yes. Does it leave a poor taste in my mouth now, very much so. It was a rash decision, as was me charging into combat against a PC that can make good aligned creatures attack me instead of dictating the fight on my end.

Wait, DKs can use compulsion to make a goodie attack others?
A while back, good duplicates were made so they no longer assisted evil masters due to shenanigans which Ergorion was pulling off as Zitthirax. That sounds like a serious oversight which needs to be corrected.
I was able to get a sapling to attack him with it, though we ran away and he then lightning charged into a new one that I had summoned. Be careful with lightning charge elf pallies! Sucks that you deleted over this, I thought you would play it more careful since you had seen the sapling attack you before. But sounds like you logged in frustrated which I do way too often. Keep your head up, time to roll the next character!
I'm actually probably taking a break from AR for a while. This patch was cool and playing Sigrune was fun. She was kinda keeping me a bit tethered to the game for now. I'll be back, just don't know when. And its not 'all' elf paladins. Its the Eradication oath. I could have been any other oath and that would not have happened.

In all fairness, it was me lightning charging in. Like I said, it was a rash decision, just like me not moving to dictate the fight on my terms. But the real thing that left a bad taste in my mouth was seeing that all the practices into pally stuff was just gone. Only had what weapon/skills that translated over, cure light and summon, everything else was 1%
Yeah that is pretty depressing, did you lose all your practices too? This spec definitely sounds like it is for a really specific type of player haha I don't know what type, but definitely not most players. Don't step away! I'll personally help you rank something up haha.
I had the amount of prac/train I had before our fight. ALso, my stats got a little wonky due to automatically becoming a drow instead of being an elf.

Having no pracs to use (thereby turning character into a potato) seems a bit ridiculous and I can definitely see why your instant reaction to that would be to delete. Thanks for these descriptive comments. This is good feedback on the first ever eradication pally oath-break.

What causes that oath to break is getting damnation from killing stuff. Its a pretty well-policed affect. You can't get damnation by killing dupes, charmed mobs, wanted criminals, or killing mobs that are under the affects of compulsion (i.e. charmed). What happened here is the dk just summoned a sapling. If he wasn't spamming lightning charges (its a very good skill, but AOE) he wouldn't have killed that sapling. Its just being reckless vs summoners and not considering that innocents might end up in harms way.

Also regarding the pracs, what happens is all of the skills that can convert over are left at proficiency, and then any skill lost is refunded a practice. If more skills make sense to crossover we can do that. I dont want to give people a character with fully mastered blindness and fireball after cake-practicing cure blindness.

You're sure the practices are refunded? Right when this patch came out, I had a lvl 30 pally sitting around that I oath-breaked (sp?) just to see what would happen. The 'converted' skills crossed over, but I did not get refunded any practices. I similarly deleted after that.
