Death
Dogen was born to a middle class duergar family that earned an honest living as tailors in their village. His mother and father were not extremely evil by any mean, they didn't like elves but thats expected. Dogen had a normal upbringing for most children but he was far from normal. From the day his parents brought him home it was like death followed. Their pets would come up missing, the little duergar children avoided him for he would bully them. His parents knew that Dogen had an evil heart and did all they could make sure their son was proteted. One day Dogen however got into a little trouble in his town. He pushed a child into the nearby rushing stream causing him to drown. He was to be swept away by the constable for his acts but his parents had another plan. They gave their son some supplies and an axe and told him to run off to live away from their village. He stumbled for many days until coming upon Darkhaven. He took up work stealing what he could and selling it, but his true desire was to join the Army of Darkness.

Description:

A dirty duergar clothed in basically beggar attire is here. He has a shit eating grin on his face that exposes rows of black, dirty teeth. His head is bald but he boast a beautiful black beard that is well kept. The face of this duergar being so dirty you can't tell it's true color, but two jade eyes peer out curiously. A huge honker for a nose sticks out and comes to a long point, at the end of it a fat hairy mole can be seen.

  1. none of my squid necro kills are listed...when i first made this char i only made him to hunt elite players (squids, vampires,) and i did great killing the squids weren't many vamps till recently. im not sure why i joined legion this time wish i would have just stuck with killing the damn squids.

You killed the same squid 5 times, accumulating 6 penalties in doing so.
    1. so odd.........i could have sworn.

Actually I think I'm siding with bladefurry on this one. Is this difficult to ? I think if players kill "elites" then the penalties should not apply.

Killing 10 Elite should make you Super Elite.

Haha, nice... Then if you combine 2 Super Elites in the same room, you can form Voltron!

idk what the penalties are all about, are they really necessary? maybe we should report the actual number of kills, but use the penalty score as a judge of how powerful the guy is. I think total number of kills at all levels should also get reported on the gravestone. The penalty still has value though
    6. maybe you can edit the graveyard to reflect penalties like Kills: 0, Deaths: 11 penalties: 5 (Ratio: 0, Efficiency: 0%)
Pinnacle Kills: 2, Pinnacle Deaths: 5 (Ratio: 0.4, Efficiency: 28%)

I'll do it if I get to it before someone else does. I'm not in too much of a hurry because I think most of the important stuff is part of Olyn's end-of-month PK history recaps
    8. I think changing this is a bad idea. There is no point to penalties if you do this. People like blade furry attacking someone over and over again like that should not get credit for their kills Inot any fashion
    9. why shouldn't i get credit for kills on an "elite" and people like me? eat cunt nadrin

I support an exemption for killing elites, I think it should be fulfilling to kill a vampire, always.
    11. right and it's not like im talking about an elite player playing a non vamp/alhoon char and me breaking my foot off in their ass continuously
    12. I'm ok with it if we are JUST talking about elite classes, ie vampires or alhoon. Just as long as it doesn't get turned into an abuse the newbie fest.
    13. Davairus
      1 , 0 , 0 .
      yes JUST the elites.
    [reply to Olyn]
  4. it makes sense.
      [reply to Bladefurry]
    1. What would be the point of penalties then? The whole point is to not abuse the system. You go around killing people then leaving them alone after you won't get penalties.
        [reply to Nadrin]
      1. i think it should only apply for non elite killing elite but i think about the people who got elite by RP not PK. elite players who can't pk would take a big hit on this, but i think if your playing a vampire, or an alhoon these should show up in kills because i have killed a vampire and it never shows ive killed the alhoons and it hasn't shown either..just sucks whats the point if they aren't going to be recorded?

Because you're a pk'er and you know you did it. So why need to prove it to other people?
        2. Merlandox
          0 , 0 , 0 .
The point of penalties is to not multi-kill and i do think this should apply to everyone elite included. What's the point of killing the same squid 60 times while he's trying to get re-equipped? It's bad enough that alhoons have shit vulns and are enemies of the entire non undead population. Now adding in multi killing for trophy? That's not right in my opinion.

Anyway to answer nyc, i think penalties came about to discourage multi-killing. Especially against noobs where the same guy camps him 24/7 and killing you while you are trying to reequip. So i think this multi-kill penalty should apply to everyone elite or not. Of course elites are supposed to be able to handle someone corpse camping you, but still....
