The Lure of Death
Darzavius was born in a back alley of Seringale. He knew little of his mother, and was told he never met his father. What he did know of his mother was that she cared little of the young Darzavius. When one is that young, memories can be misleading. The real story is that his mother thought she could make some coins off the young drow, one way or another, and therefore cared enough to keep him alive. What had happened when he was about three years old quite changed the drow's path forever. He was abandoned, and had to resort to some terrible means to keep himself fed, and away from others, that might seek to harm him. He ate what he could find, and had thought little of training his physical abilities as many other young do. He managed to survive this way for quite some long time, staying away from the attentions of most of the normal folk about him. At some point he had realized that he would have to find a reason to live, or he would keep questioning why he should. Over time he became more and more interested in the line between living and dead. He decided that his reason to keep on was to be able to control this line, in all the beings around him. It was to this end, that he decided to enter the guildhall of necromancers, and so he did.

Description:

Before you is an example of the race most commonly known as Drow. This specimen is clearly a male by the look of his facial structure, and lack of breasts. He is rather tall and slender to the point of looking gaunt. His complexion looks very pale, as though he isn't too fond of sunlight. His wears seem to be very poorly tended, and his outer clothes look in worse shape still.

This might be a long read. I will attempt to keep it chronological.
First and foremost, I never expected to become a member of Legion.
I made this character to test my PK skills with a necromancer.
HUGE thanks to Nycticora for asking me to join to begin with.
Mkatos, sorry you didn't stick around longer, you were a fearsome enemy, and a good leader.
Rondak, your suicide on me while I was attempting to gain a zombie of Valen(which they gimped shortly after I started gaining him all the time) was simply epic.
The unghosting to kill me before I figured out the Valour recall trap, not so epic.
Still liked Rondak, a formidable opponent, and not usually a sore loser.
Euriah, omg. Euriah always sent me packing....probably 99 to that one time I got lucky as hell.
Veridon was usually a fight more in my favor. Seemed like an apprentice of Euriah with a lot to learn, but still a fun fight, and never disrespectful.
Thodun was also a fun opponent, although I disliked how he would use Kushtok when I wasn't even marked.
Crisbin, also a fun fight, even though sometimes emancipation could undo 3 or 4 hours work in seconds.
Ravinah was a badass, I tried talking her into liking me instead of just being another whipping post.
Tuston, one of the most honorable characters ever I did meet. What a Knight should be.
Fought Balan a couple times, he fell me once.
Vahn pissed me off so bad because of his lack of verbal RP.
I can see a zealous healer being very aggressive, but when asked why, not to respond at all, to anyone of any alignment seemed odd. I got over it.
Ilith was a fun fight, sorry I got marked for killing you in a duel to the death.
Filstaf was always a fun time, even with the lack of chatter.
Amiendre, my dear Keepermistress. Sorry about having to make corpses of you.
Cthartu, you are a strong fighter, but one cannot lead if one does not come about.
Gaelyn, where are you? I didn't trust you at first, because of your traitorous ways, but you were a skilled fighter, and I thought you could be the leader Legion needed.
All the new Knights, good luck. Garv seemed to have heart but no swordarm.
Draku seemed new. Marest has some skill in PK, but might want to work a bit on the RP.
Sorry Gundder, hope my surprise kill on you wasn't the straw that broke the camels back.
Lorne, omg. I had your item, and you made short work of me in my grounds. Keep up the amazing work, the only true Warlord I have met.
Had many more great times, sorry if you were not mentioned.
Legion needs work. A strong killer who can be around a lot. That was never me.
I did my best to try to appear stronger, once the title fell on me.
Also a special thanks to whoever gave me the custom title. Before they gimped Valen, I would strengthen three zombies of him and CLEAN UP in the mines.
My wife and I just found out we are expecting our first, so I really hope to cut down on my AR time.
Still have 17 more 50's so I will be on here and there, just not nearly as much.
Commence flaming. I expect at least one "Worst Forsaken ever"!

First off, I loved you dude, I loved your RP, I loved that you stuck it out like a damn sore thumb. You were awesome. First condeath since Rondak, so you get props there. You're amazing, you did your best, and were a good leader. You deserve reputable if you don't have it already.
        [reply to Andrael]
      1. You stuck it out so much. That fight On Rondak, I was so pissed to die. I HAD you because of the recall trap, and ended up dying to silliness because Zerker's had not been buffed yet. It satisfied me greatly to unghost, and ragekill you after the cheese kill in Valour. The Balan kills (I think there was more then one) were cheese since you could not touch my damage output in confines. Never got to fight you on any of my other characters but good run. Way to go sticking it out so long.

Were you hungry when you posted this Nadrin? Lots of talk of cheese. The way I remember that first kill was not cheese, it was a suicide, you came in, started fighting me, then before you killed me I recalled, and my minions finished you. Anyway, thanks, I enjoyed it all very much.

Wow, created in August 2013! That's amazing. Congrats Kornhole. Also congrats on your new wee one.

I remember first seeing Darzavius and always wondering if it was Davarius in disguise.

NOOO!!!! I will miss you greatly. I had a lot of fun interacting with you, I remember you telling me so many times that this would probably be your last leg. Great run, seriously awesome way to go down fighting. Congratulations on your first kid as well.

              1. I think you did a good job as Forsaken, better then most. Like you said, you weren't the best fighter out there but you tried your best to appear strong and fearsome like the leader of Legion should be. You stuck it out to the end and that takes alot of guts. It's really hard to play when you have like 10 con and can't heal worth crap. You never whine or cried when you lost your equipment or died, you just dusted yourself off, grabbed some malicious beast and went back into the fray. But you also weren't overly aggressive or attacking randomly risking your life without any gain, you tried to play smart. I think the only critique I can think of is to try to develop some more unique roleplay, especially as a Leader of a cabal. I know that's hard to do, I feel victim to that constantly but it does make you a better character and also betters the players around you.

Looking forward to your next project.

                  :(

Great run. I don't know if I just started off watching mismatched battles for you, but it seemed to me like you grew by leaps and bounds on the pk side. As for the RP side, yeah I didn't see anything that jumped out at me, but you had a personality and you stuck to it, thick and thin. Liked him through and through.

                      Dude. Mad fucking props.

First of all condeath. Rare enough as it is. But 77. That's like, 16 more than the normal amount for condeath because of the surge so mad epic props.

But it's not like you were a beia 2-77. 58-75 is a solid fucking ratio. So hella mad props.

I didn't get to fight you a ton. And as Crisbin, I tried to avoid necros at all costs because I couldn't compete with damage.

I would like to nominate this character for the Halls of Exalted.
                        [reply to Ergorion]
                      1. I had you dead to rites in the slith village. I remember one of my skills, (I think berserk) missed, and then when you recalled at awful, I killed your flesh golem and snapped out of rage instead of them fleeing and my having two hours to regenerate before I snapped out of rage. That is what killed me. As far as the other cheese, imprisoning you with a storm giant warrior was cheese from the other direction.

Good run man... no vote on the HOE, though. Nothing too spectacular in the RP dept, and not the best k/d ratio really. Big props on the longevity.
Being around a long time doesn't get you into the HOE.

Kudos to the condeath, lots a kills although you had a tendency to bottomfeed. Agree with Xenyar on the no HoE vote because of that. But HoE is for the best of the best of the best, so just because you (likely) won't make it in there that doesn't mean this wasn't a kick ass character. Which it was.

Yeah, not just surge protection on the extra deaths, also did a quest turn in for condition....is there any substitute for that these days? Also, thanks all for the kind words.

Darzavius was great. He always had his own goals and he never cared what anyone else thought about him. He got promoted and demoted as necessary for the health of the cabal and never complained about it.

                                  9/10 would induct again
